i have installed pse-11 , pe-11 cds 64-bit windows 7 system on asus 17" power laptop i7 quad intel processor , geforce 460m graphics hardware, , dual 7200 rpm drives.   photoshop elements , organizer seem work, premiere elements freezes after startup when displays main screen.  serious problems begin if try resize or move pe-11 window.  fragments of pe-11's image , background windows sprinkled around.  can escape mess if ctrl-alt-del , kill pe-11 task.   eventually, remove possible causes , try clean system, restored laptop factory image and: - installed windows updates (now service pack 1). - installed asus updates. - installed newset drivers geforce 460m hardware. - verified there no new pe-11 updates. - did not install other software other adobe except, except quicktime , itunes.   can please why pe-11 fails work in environment?   thanks ... reed it should not.   something else going on on system can't diagnose on forum. have contacted adobe ...

hello,   i have called adobe problem, , didn't seem understand needed , requested open case. i'd ask community first since i've had lot of positive responses here.   basically, have book file 18 documents total of 66 pages. want print booklet can fold , bind pages ourselves/a third party. way had book file export entire book pdf, in adobe acrobat, select file > print > page sizing & handling > booklet option. (see picture)     my supervisor did looks legal paper, , booklet looks perfect. decided wanted use letter paper save costs, when print letter size, scales files , adds 1" 2" margin, instead of having footer near bottom of each booklet page, it's inch off, versus legal paper goes way bottom. in attached image below, can see spacing shouldn't there.   those 2 red boxes don't appear on legal-sized booklet nor on individually printed out pdf file.   can assist?   i searched around online , on here, issue seems cross lot of different issu...

i've got client went motion lower third crazy. 100 (but it's hour long class, looks "reasonable" this). i've dutifully built them in ae cs6.   my problem in importing them ppro cs6. normal path use media browser select ae project, "file...import media browser". in turn gives me pop window makes me select "comps" gives me list of comps in ae project. can select one, imports one. can't find way import them group. or more 1 @ time.   there's bound way. can't first person want this. so... how can import these lower thirds @ 1 time, rather 1 one? you can drag comps project window in ae project window in premiere pro. won't work if happen have installed applications individually instead of part of production premium or suite or products, long installed them together, can drag , drop between applications want. i running ubuntu natty xfce 4.8 desktop on tiny computer called beagleboard-xm. issue see on display partially cut off because display resolution on beagleboard set resolution different screen, non-standard size. ok, i've tried 2 different plugins , each one, tells me can't either find folder or there no image files in folder. yes, plugins enabled, 1 @ time avoid overlap. had turned on error message. yes, plugins configured , article had plugin script ( {gallery}foldername{/gallery} ) yes, folder there , had images in it. created folder first time through ftp program, deleted , recreated folder , uploaded images through media manager, added .jpg legal extensions, though .jpeg there...still got same error. i don't think problem plugins, maybe setting on looked in joomla. i've used 1 of them before...simple image gallery...and other simple image gallery extended (from 2 different developers think) ideas? is joomla (or webserver process) able see images in folder? can seen them media manager? could check documentation in plugin itself? in extensions > plugin manager > select plugin. sometimes developers give additional tips there. did try other settings adding images root f...

i have installed pe 8 on laptop, came canoscan 9000f.  there no file/save or save available in main menu, nor there saving files check box(es) available in edit/preferences.  there no save ikons or buttons seen, how 1 save image, please? these options available in editor module file menu.   as of organizer module, perhaps scanning files here only, files brought organizer catalog (and saved in location choose while scanning file) hence organizer module doesn't need save options in menus.   let me know if helps.   thanks andaleeb More discussions in Photoshop Elements adobe

hello, have dual booted ubuntu many times before windows 7 , has worked without issue, time struggling windows boot. have kubuntu 11.04 installed alongside windows 7. partitions on drive laid out follows: sda1 windows system reserved (300m) sda2 windows 7 sda3 swap sda4 (lvm) -sda5 /boot -sda6 / in retrospect suppose should have put swap , / inside lvm , /boot primary partition, if can work have best. ran code: sudo grub-probe -t device /boot/grub and confirms grub2 installed on sda5. problem... grub2 setup load windows 7, , there entry in list windows 7 (loader on /dev/sda1). installer created automatically. when choose option in bootloader though, screen blinks black (as if chainloading windows) , grub menu comes (no errors though). seems if windows chainloader entry somehow pointing @ grub itself. know work if reinstalled windows bootloader, changed around linux partitions, , reinstalled kubuntu (this time bootloader on mbr), a...

i have search module published part of site. when search, results page modules assigned pages. i have hidden menu , created menu item search results page. in search module entered menu item id. i following url: http://[domain]/component/search/?searchword=qualidade&searchphrase=all&itemid=3 the actual menu item id 193 in system. when change 3 193 see page i'd displayed. i don't know item id coming from. does know how can right id displayed, displaying correct page? thanks! somewhere in menu system (or menu trash) link search component itemid 3. find , destroy it, , that'll fix it. hi,   i got new update 13.0.2 , after installing photoshop doesn't recognize keyboard input expected? shortcuts not working anymore. input values not recognized. text editing not possible anymore. etc.   and: when start photoshop following trial info: master collection trial. 32767 days remaining   thats on 89 years –  can live that. ;-) but there wrong update, makes impossible continue work.   regards   ps: possible uninstall update or have uninstall photoshop @ all? do have third party plugins?   have tried disabling them?   i'm not seeing problems here keyboard shortcuts, or text entry. can't find how open jpeg file in photoshop acr.  can on windows machine, not on mac.  click/cmd r switch work bridge?  out appreciated. you can on mac, works differently. instead of choosing open as, choose file > open , in open dialog box, select jpeg , choose camera raw format pop-up menu near bottom.   the difference might because open dialog 1 of places photoshop meets operating system, adobe working each os gives it.
