Organizer cannot show thumbnails or play video for my captured DV video

i have captured dv video 10-year old dv camera (sony dcr-tr22) elements organizer neither able preview nor show thumbnails for. when double click on it, preview window, can play audio, , see generic video icon in place of actual video.

 

on other hand, video plays fine in editing window, know right codecs there somewhere.

 

i using windows 7 64bit. i've installed videolan, don't think that's culprit uninstalled see if solves issue (and not).

 

not being able use organizer dv video makes elements less useful advertised. please help.

did use premiere elements capture video on firewire connection?

 

have ensured have latest version of quicktime apple, per program requirements?

 

what happens when put video on timeline of premiere elements project?

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
