i purchased windows 8 computer replace old windows xp computer, on have lightroom 3.6 , photoshop elements 6.0.  photos on external drive , remain there after install lr , pse on new computer.  question of lr or pse should install first on new computer.  (does matter?)  plan continue use lr primary program catalog, developing, exporting, etc., pse used selective adjustments photos only. i don't know matters. however, install photoshop elements first. then, when install lightroom, easy choose external editor. i updated cs6 13.0.2 , noticed issue eye dropper. eye dropper tool selected, hovering on document puts wrong values rgb section of info panel. pick correct colors when click mouse, though.   by "the wrong values", mean eye dropper seems sample half pixel left of pixel you're hovering over. i'm not using retina display, wouldn't surprise me if result of changes retina. in case, it's not correct.   is else seeing this? i can reproduce this.   it looks color sampler in hover mode showing correct value when hover on top left 'quadrant' of pixel over. when in of other 3 quadrants (top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right) shows wrong value.   when click sample, select correct value pixel (exactly described) More discussions in Photoshop General Discussion adobe
