i have seen number of threads similar this, none have been helpful.   i purchased brand new 21.5" imac late last year. processor 2.8 ghz intel core i7 memory 12 gb 1333 mhz ddr3   installed cs5.5, , found pretty slow. got more ram. hav 12gb of ram. saw improvement, it's still slow. premiere worst. when press play, on low-res video footage, takes couple seconds start playing.   i clicked project settings, , renderer, "mercury playback engine software only" option grayed out.   i looked @ threads... , apparently have manually set graphics card or that? know nothing that.   have had enough of this. frusterating. sold in pp5.5's speed, , has been extremely slow. any suggestions? thanks! your 2011 imac has amd (formerly ati) gpu - , cannot upgrade or replace @ all. worse, premiere pro cs5.5 not support opencl @ gpu acceleration in mpe engine (cs5.5 supports cuda, used recent nvidia gpus, gpu acceleration). worst of all, imac's gpu has 512mb of dedicated grap...

maybe i'm missing something, cannot lasso or highlight keyframes of track in timeline. unlike clip keyframes, in can select , delete them via effect control window, in order delete track keyframes in cs6, appears 1 must manually select every single keyframe individually.  aaaargh! though can "lasso" or drag "selection" around things on track timeline, not select groups of track keyframes lasso.   i've checked cs6 documentation, , still see no way this...even though mentions being able click outside clip , drag selection.   try it.   1. create timeline 2. set audio mixer channel 1 "write" 3. hit play , go crazy channel 1 mixer slider 4. hit stop 5. change option on audio 1 on timeline can "show track keyframes" 6. see pretty keyframes?...now try delete them @ once without deleting audio/video clip...   any questions? there no reason why, in professional application such this, shouldn't able select multiple keyframes , delete them. fe...

how insert signature on photograph ? if mean wish apply real handwritten signature, suggest produce 1 black pen on white paper, scan this. can save file, extract signature without white background in elements, , apply picture.   if "typed" signature after, can use type tool purpose. tool uses system fonts.   if need apply signature several picture files, batch process available via file>process multiple files>labels>watermark.   another option make signature brush.
