Thread: grub2 doesn't recognize windows 7
hey everyone!
here's probem installed windows 7 after installed linux. got grub reinstalled windows doesnt show in grup menu. run in linux sudo update-grub, doesnt find windows system.
maybe can me add windows grub menu.
here's fdisk -l

wee need see more information can provided meierfra's boot script. boot ubuntu , go site:

download , run boot script according instructions there , post contents of results.txt between code tags clarity. there several reasons why grub's os-prober might not see windows , boot script may tell us. also, give better fdisk output fdisk -l, gives partition figures in cylinders, of little use. in future, might want use "fdisk -lu" gives figures in sectors of more help. don't need run fdisk again - equivalent information in boot script output.
