Moving Site - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support


i've looked everywhere , tried several backup extensions (akeeba, easy joomla backup, xcloner) can't seem find want.

i have joomla installed locally functional site. have fresh install of joomla on remote server. copy site localhost remote server without having install joomla. in future able test new additions site on localhost , upload changes remote server.

does have idea how this? there extension i'm missing?

as using extensions, suggest going through documentation of extensions. documents specified above has section needs done when using extensions such akeeba backup.

note:
you have create new database on remote host, create user database, grant privileges user connecting it.
