i'm dual booting windows , ubuntu , want shrink volume size of windows partition. using windows 7, lets me shrink volume 400 mb. how can change volume size of windows partition? there other partition utilities available, recommended windows utility used. @ times linux partitioner work, fail @ times. try find answer in windows forum , come on linux questions. i found feature should considered in next core upgrade. it seems if set menu, , call menu through module, there no way sort items title on front-end. i have several hundred items in menu , want them list them alphabetically without having manually move them or down. should able select drop down in menu module sorts them alphabetization on front end. please consider adding feature. thanks. ooh, sounds useful idea. it's not hard make duplicate copy of joomla menu module (just have rename files , change class names in few places). sorting easy programming task. if you're interested in having 3pd instead of built-in may have time create that. i've inherited website our business built in believe latest version of joomla. there form on our "contact us" page directing email no longer being used. i've never used joomla before , can't seem find container or code change email address. while rtfm joomla, please assist me in being able change email form submitted? if helps, seems chronoform5 object need change. also, can recommend resources joomla basics? thank in advance. if it's default contact form of joomla: in /administrator/ goto components > contacts > contacts > click on contact item , change email. if it's chronoforms, should able edit somewhere via components > chronoforms. i'm trying upgrade site j 1.5.26 2.5.22, 2.5 installed in folder under root. when save configuration changes in 2.5, writes configuration.php root (j1.5) killing live site, not configuration.php in folder new site. have tried using htaccess code: select all rewritebase /joomla25 in it, seems continue write configuration in root. ideas? i'm trying use spupgrade, has issue, too: reports ftp extension not loaded on server, use ftp access server. and, turned on ftp in j1.5 , seems report okay. turn off ftp layer in joomla if have server without ownership/permission issues. the issue can caused wrong ftp account/host information. the writing of configuration files has nothing sef urls , rewrite base in .htaccess.
