Problems during installation of joomla and extentions - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello , thank reading this.

i have been trying install joomla 3.3.3 jevents 3.1.30 have read lot issue specific problem no effort. that's why i'm posting here, me out, ...

i can't erase installation folder. (configuration.php writetable - managed through "get info" right click option on mac - else -> read & write)

i can't install plugins (i can create menus, articles etc)
i had no open_basedir configuration on php.ini added
open_basedir = /users/myuser/sites
open_basedir = /users/myuser/sites:tmp

when adding error message everytime try install plugin
(uploading)
error
there error uploading file server.

(from directory)
warning
jinstaller: :install: cannot find xml setup file (but think compatible)
error
path not have valid package.

(from url this)
an error has occurred.
protocol http not supported or disabled in libcurl

any appreciated, much.

i try using mamp , worked! think using apache mavericks not recommended.
