this frustrating. use acer n56v laptop teach lightroom workshops. use 32 inch television display. when have laptop attached hdmi cable , try use lightroom's adjustment brush, crashes. either screen , computer shuts down or blue screen of death. can else! can edit in photoshop, else in lightroom or silver efx pro. can click on adjustment brush. minute brush hits photo (and not before), computer crashes. if don't have attached hdmi or if use serial cable, no issues. it's adjustment brush , hdmi output. i called adobe , said because onboard video card primary , not nvidia. called acer , said it's auto detect. tried making nvidia card primary , still happened. ideas??? hi. site has been running joomla many years no problems, never felt need upgrade. site has been hacked directories, eval code (whatever is) , hacked config files. i feel need upgrade site now, not sure version, reading requests on upgrading, shows lots of failed links , tools. not possible upgrade site please? don't want start again , lose indexed pages. thanks mark depending on complexity of site, migration later, supported , more secure version take work. maintaining seo indexed pages of course important. data export , import getting users across can simple extensions templates may not have upgrade path have replaced. possible custom modifications need checked, upgraded , tested, too. hi folks, the administrator of new joomla page (available on http://augsburg-matthaeus-predigten.de/ ) managed site state if try go on page run "too many redirections" - front page not show up. i looked few potential solutions, got yet. strange things found while did research on current installation: - in config file there no "live-site" url. blanks ''. - seems in top folder redirects url double slashes @ end ( http://augsburg-matthaeus-predigten.de// ). when tried put live-site in, url got when tried normal url: http://augsburg-matthaeus-predigten.de/ ... igten.de// --> strange. on other hand, no problem access other folders. means, admin pages available , working. redirect-module on there no active redirections. also on hosters side seems there no redirections. in .htaccess saw nothing strange... joomla version: 2.5.24 so, have no idea right now, problem may be... maybe klyx just try use basic .htaccess file come joomla, rename existing , put there c...

i discovered today external hd isn't being shared when switch between users, after logging out of first one. i'd thought assignment of hd permissions property of given user end, once user had logged out. instead, seems assignment 1 user endures beyond logged in session, until machine restarted. there way change that, (only) sequentially logged in user profiles each gain access external hd? do have entry in /etc/fstab external drive in question? what format drive? (ntfs, ext, etc.). are both of users local users on same computer? are both in same group? hi, everyone.   got confusing one.. me, anyway.   at work location, developers have cf server 9.0.1 installed on local development machine.  everyone's primary developing environment.  project completed, uploaded central dev server testing before going staging, etc.   every once in while, there 1 project several developers work on @ same time.  in case, central cf server everyone's dev server.   i have 6 "sites" set in dw - 5 local , 1 (recently added) remote.   ever since added remote site, every time try set datasource in local site, dw tries log me in central dev server (which don't have password for.)  cannot seem log me in local dev cf server.  @ all.  i've rebooted machine, no luck.  permanently (it seems) set central cf server whenever try change local.   suggestions?   thank you,   ^_^   edit:  clarification, happens whenever click on set datasource under databbases panel. even more confusing...
