Upgrade 2.5.1 to 2.5.24 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have tried upgrade tab , received error:
-1 - error has occurred.
copy failed
not sure want anyway since says update 2.5.14...

tried using extension manager upload package... minute goes screen refreshes... no error, no nothing.

tried using url (first url joomla site - unknown archive type: unable find install package/ tried url route downloading package, uploading server, using url - jfile: :read: unable open file: ./tmp/joomla_2.5.x_to_2.5.24-stable-patch_package.tar
unable read archive: unable find install package)

any thoughts... rather not manually.
thanks in advance.

have tried zip file? server may lack utility unpack tar files.

you can unzip file , use install directory method.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
