Thread: Thunderbird uninstall and reinstall problem

i running thunderbird 3.04, , trying upgrade 6 , running ubuntu 10.04. added ppa recent thunderbird upgrades, , did apt-get update , upgrade of thunderbird. had shut down thunderbird before installing 6, started tbird, , found still running 3.04.

went synaptic , listed installed version

6.0+build2+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.10.04.1~mts1

tried uninstall , reinstall via terminal, have 3.04 not 6. did complete uninstall via synaptic , install through same 3.04 still. it's not big deal have clue why can't 6?

could in profile tying thunderbird 3.04? thing haven't deleted.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
