Site replica is not working! - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi there,

i ran strange issue:

i have account @ service provider, let`s call : myserviceprovider.com.

i have site on myserviceprovider.com/mysite , using addin domain have associated site mydomain.com

it working fine!

the problem wanted create test site, using cpanel have copied myserviceprovider.com/mysite myserviceprovider.com/mysite_bkp, copied db , changed relevent part in configuration.php , working fine, problem when ever clicked on 1 of menu items or other link (for example, read more) like:

not found

the requested url /content not found on server.

additionally, 404 not found error encountered while trying use errordocument handle request.


i thought problem because test site not associated domain, associated different domain. still problem persists.

my system info is:

**database version** 5.1.73-cll
**database collation** utf8_general_ci
**php version** 5.3.28
**web server** apache
**webserver php interface** cgi-fcgi
**joomla! version** joomla! 3.3.0 stable [ ember ] 30-april-2014 14:00 gmt

you running site cache, , haven't purged on new site yet.

if that's not it, check .htaccess references previous webspace needing updated.

also, make sure not use live_site setting -- leave blank.

but clearing cache fixed :)

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
