Migrating site to Joomla - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all! want convert site manage joomla. cleanly written html/css/php site (someone else created, ametuer). love able somehow migrate joomla. before go poking around, copying , pasting. have advice or knowledge doing such conversion?

i'm having tough time determining type of site you're talking about. if it's html site, suggest using html2 move pages joomla articles. brilliant extension. http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... port/16538

if it's small site, start scratch , copy html joomla articles once you've set structure of site. that's cleanest way.

if it's "cms" try using cms 2 cms.com. i've not used others have. you'll have check out thoroughly before making decision.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
