Want to delete unwanted parts from a .avi video file, and save back to itself ?

i total newb adobe premiere pro cs6.

 

here's want do:

 

     have footage - video clips - parts of clip good, , parts of unwanted trash know not using. edit file directly, delete unwanted stuff, , save file parts. what's best way that? tried making sequence, doing edits, , exporting file .avi when play obvious not have parameters set same way original file ( .avi file). guess real point of doing not have scroll through unwanted stuff repeatedly create sequence.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
