How to make J Menus show subcategories and sub-subcategory? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have looked @ http://docs.joomla.org/creating_a_submenu , have latest version of joomla installed, , don't seem able menu show subcategory of subcategory. sub-submenu.
i have tried changing many settings can find show on menu settings, , best have gotten far submenu of category menu show, can seen here http://technotes.whw1.com. have installed menu module showing sub-submenus, 1 comes joomla installation seems stop @ 2nd level. so, not asking menu on top right, , asking normal menu structure shows above banner , ads. can see, whatever settings have work in causing other menu module show cascading menus.

i found myself @ docs 3.2 menu, says under construction; @ time of writing: http://docs.joomla.org/j3.2:getting_started_with_menus , no there.

doing search on forum j 3 version forum thread did not provide results.

question
so, able have normal menu comes latest j installation (3.2) have many levels of submenus show? if yes, key settings control or missing not allowing 3rd or 4th level of menus show?

the page of http://docs.joomla.org/creating_a_submenu , mentioned above, suggests suppose able several levels of menus (many levels of submenu categories show).

i want common menu structure of kind show, shown below, , attached image in case below text method not show correctly

after , else struggled menus days, , days (if not whole week), read somewhere on joomla new 3 version default installation no longer supports multiple levels of menu expansion beyond 1 expansion.
so, extension needed achieve this. began search such extensions. lots more time.

eventually, birth of how-to article @ http://technotes.whw1.com/computer-rela ... oomla-site installing , using 3rd party extension provides ability have expanding menu multiple levels. automatically take existing menu structure , provide drop down or sliding menus according settings provide on it. show little arrows menus have sub-menu, regardless number of levels down.

due site being in progress , changes being made, need indicate url may change in future (meaning may break). however, article still somewhere @ site later if specific url not lead there directly.

i found other extensions did similar, , if want other names too, let me know, , go , check notes. if recall correctly, manic menu.
