Akeebabackup OK but Kickstart to Xampp local server fails - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i installed akeeba backup on live site, did backup , used binary ftp download win7 laptop. ran phpmyadmin on xampp local server, dropped existing database , created new one. deleted files , directories in root of local server. copied kickstart.php root backup .jpa file. typed url localhost/joomla/kickstart.php start kickstart. correct archive file showed default. chose write_directly , clicked btn_start. button blinked nothing happened. extracting progress bar blue before clicked on btn_start button. there no error messages , no files/directories created in local root. tried troubleshooting suggestions @ akeebabackup.com, start button remains unresponsive. suggestions?

what version of php? memory_limit set in php.ini? php function opendir available?

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
