Thread: I can't upgrade VirtualBox

hello,
have problem virtualbox: when execute , search updates, dialog box appears informing me new version available , offers link downloading it.
download .deb file , run it, nothing happens. should display software center, offering upgrade vbox.
i've tried well-known command:

sudo apt-get update
but didn't fix problem.
version of virtualbox i'm running 4.0.8 r 71778. latest version 4.0.12.
part, though, virtual machines(with mint linux , opensuse) can still executed .
appreciated.

it doesn't automatically start installing, dialogue box asking program want use install. make sure dialogue not buried under window somewhere.

don't forget download , install extension pack 4.0.12 also.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
