How do I use every 4th frame - leave music alone?

i don't know call it, i'd take existing video music , maybe use every 4th (or whatever) video frame without changing music.  brute force method, accomplished by:

 

1) unlinking audio & video

2) time-shrinking video factor of 4 (or whatever).  so, i'd take 4 minute video, speed 60 seconds create .mpg file fast & short.

3) read in new fast-short video & time stretch original length.

4) add original music

 

this worked, it's bit cumbersome.  plus, if 4x isn't right speed-up, need start on - maybe several times. there filter or accompishes this?

your method of time-stretching /time remapping work.  particularly if intent play video @ 4x normal speed.

 

premiere elements has feature capturing every fourth frame or whatever built it's minidv capture software, if video coming minidv cam.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
