Thread: Program (MATLAB) not showing up in Software Centre

hi, i'm running ubuntu 11.04 (natty narwhal, right?). switched vista few days ago , i'm loving it! feels i'm using powerful machine again instead of rusty, buggy contraption.

anyway, installed matlab off cd. installation went fine , program seems working on par far can tell (apart crashes when try load .fig, can around that). however, not showing in software centre, though appears in applications folder. attempts keep in launcher bar fail - stays there clicking on icon doesn't anything. help? don't want have go applications folder every time want run matlab...

you need make tiny script, example:
#! /bin/sh
dir=/usr/local/matlab/r2010b/bin/
cd $dir
./matlab
, in desktop, make new launcher excecute path above script location, choose picture launcher (can download mathlab icon internet) -> done, have matlab icon in desktop in window.

have fun!

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
