Thread: Infraction for circumventing the language filter
hi,
i've received private message:
no, not circumventing language filter. word "funk" not same "f***". has meaning( music genre-funk music), not against code of conduct.posted s.fox
, here's point: sort of so-said circumvention has been used.
user above me on thread in question has name "whatthefunk" . , there's game thread titled "oh funk, lost again!". staff don't seem have taken action on mentioned user , on title of game thread (making me assume it's permitted "what funk" here). why did silver fox take action on me? aren't equal here?
also, not think posted there inappropriate. have replaced word "funk" other word use permitted here(i.e. "what popcorn!"), resulting in wouldn't have been mistakenly considered circumvention of language filter. word "funk" not slight misspelling-or variation-of popular profanity.
not posting nonsense in resolution center again , convinced error in moderation has been made.
please it.
regards,
s-fox took action because believed circumventing language filter.
(was) @ end of day cultural issue. may hard believe , not understands "funk" same way , can understand how "what funk" misunderstood.
went ahead , reversed infraction, sorry inconvenience.
