Thread: dell inspiron 2650 no keyboard commands

ok kinda new ubuntu , not,have played bit before.
problem having , have googled , found numerous threads on forum this,but nobody seems have found workaround.
when install ubuntu 10.10 on dell inspiron 2650 updated bios version a13.windows xp pro other operating system 512 megs of ram.
works fine till run update manager updates fine upon reboot not accept keyboard commands,will accept usb keyboard , mouse
again happens after update.
tried editing grub menu acpi-off,but not sure if did right,as when rebooted again thats fresh install no updates wouldnt accept keyboard again.
right running ubuntu no updates,afraid keep trying dont want keep reinstalling


ideas?



mods didnt see dell support section please move thread there.

if grub option worked, never fear because did supposed do, when rebooted removed option line. means every time reboot have add boot option again, unless find way add permanently. know there way this, don't know what. highly in grub 2 guide.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
