reset default preferences w/ CS5 on iMac?

happy holidays all.  i'm using adobe's classroom in book.  on page 12, prompter reset default preferences doesn't pop up, there way reset?  thankye.

click on photoshop icon to  launch it, , press down , hold cmd-opt-shift keys @ once until reset dialog box appears. dialog appear "delete adobe photoshop preferences file?" press yes if that's want , photoshop continue open. may take few tries should work.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
