Thread: KVM host network performance terrible VM network performance ok. What gives?

i have bridged networking set in interfaces file , networking on hosts seems fine. can access internet , local network ok. problem can't same host machine. try access internet , dogs. can through website or synaptic download connections time out. i've tried pinging google terminal , dogs. tried , here's output:

66 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 65006ms

i'm pretty noob linux. i've had laptop use ubuntu installed , works great haven't had dig fingers deep stuff until , i'm struggling. appreciated. also, out of way, have searched forums. if missed please let me know. have googled if there answer question out there on interwebs please kind enough shoot me url. i'm not sure files need post please let me know need see. more can stay out of terminal happier am. can stomach if need be, i'm gui guy @ heart. don't hate. thank generously in advance!

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
