Thread: ubuntu software center doesn't work

hi! i'm new linux , i'm using ubuntu 11.10 oneiric ocelot alpha 3 . day before yesterday updated os "update manager", @ time of update process had began popup message informed me system can take partial updates , did so. after whenever try install software "ubuntu software center" installation not performed not asking root password.

me eradicate such problem?

how new linux? if class "i'm new linux" alpha versions not you.

careful "partial updates" in development versions; new dependency hasn't been uploaded yet , doing "partial update" remove crucial package because new dependency isn't available. tend use synaptic package manager "mark updates" instead of clicking partial update button in update manager.

fix problem? try going synaptic package manager, click reload, , after that's finished click mark updates. it'll tell packages install, remove , update. check "remove" part of list carefully. when satisfied it's safe, click ok , click apply.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
