Lost my 'Source Panel' options when Importing files

i discovered 'change' 'source panel' window when try import new files cf cards. have 4.2 installed. available on left hand side of window 'other source' pull down box , never file source hard drives or cf cards or used there prior month ago. reinstalled program twice without changes. have i  shut off accident?  buddy has same program , cannot find reason should different is. suggestions might happening?

do have - maybe - small import dialog open , not expanded form?

if have small 1 click on triangle - bottom left corner of import dialog expand it. see screen shot.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
