Thread: Harddrive doesn't mount or open on ubuntu

i've tried on windows , works fine, on ubuntu/edubuntu uh error:

"error mounting: mount exited exit code 1: helper failed with:
mount: according mtab, /dev/sdb1 mounted on /
mount failed" after opening disk utility , clicking mount. i've tried opening computer
folder in order acess harddrive , it's not there.

i've read around , tried pysdm have no idea how use >.<.

grateful whoever bestows upon me knowledge fix problem!

could atleast tell me meaning of error? :/ if possible.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
