Frontend "Edit" link for article not working - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

clicking frontend "edit" link article not work. tried different templates , edit link doesn't work using either of them (protostar , yootheme avenue). screen reloads article without showing editor. initial thought it's permissions problem on file system not sure start troubleshooting. site on internal windows server (not public facing) , i'm not sure how set permissions compared unix / linux server if that's problem.

if create article on frontend using "create article" menu item, editor appear , can save article. when browse new article click edit link, still cannot edit article. page reloads without showing editor.

any ideas?

my joomla setup is:

joomla! 3.3.3
windows server 2008 r2 enterprise edition service pack 1
mysql 5.6.18
php 5.3.28
apache 2.2.25

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
