ADOBE I NEED HELP! - Cannot Update Suite


well has been fun day! having issue , posted my problem in creative suite - windows forum , gave few days , 1 reply received did not solve issue. decided have contact adobe support. first went online chat prefer , spoke someone. told not solve issue , need speak "product expert" , gave me adobe 800 support number. called , told there 2 hour wait! system said call me back, did. spoke man said transfer me correct department. after being on hold 10 - 20 minutes man answered , again explained problem. needed research issue. after 10 minute hold told department handles these issues , transferred again. write have been on hold going on 90 minutes no answer. had hang have other calls , work must taken care of today! adobe support of worst have ever seen company of size! there have been few exceptions , in general support provided here on forums excellent. reason turn forum. know there several adobe employees reply on forum regularly , if cannot me solve issue adobe employees can me cut crap , can help.

 

here issue:

 

i attempting check updates using adobe application manager on windows 8 , error:

the update server not responding. server might offline temporarily, or internet or firewall settings may incorrect.

 

i have seen error before on windows 7 , remembered needed disable microsoft virtual wifi miniport adapter. navigated correct place miniport adapter not there. after bit of searching across several forums saw recommendation change <loglevel>2</loglevel>  <loglevel>10</loglevel>. attempted , again still did not work. have tried disabling anti-virus protection , disabling windows firewall. neither worked.

 

i not sure else try or @ point.

 

are there other recommendations solve issue?

 

note: running windows 8 pro using creative cloud version of cs6 , check updates going > updates via adobe program.

sorry hear facing problem updater.  have created log file using log level 10.  please send me updater log file @ vitalwar@adobe.com  following location can debug issue .

log file loction

              - vista/win7: <%localappdata%>\adobe\aamupdater\1.

              - win xp: <user>\local settings\application data\adobe\aamupdater\1.0 

              - mac: ~/library/application support/adobe/aamupdater/1.0

 

please zip complete  1.0 folder , send across.
