Thread: Downloads from google triggering netger firewall/router to drop internet

hello all,

whenever try download google (first tried download chromium google, page-speed extension firefox google), netgear firewall/router drops internet connection. indicator lights has internet connection whole office has lost access internet.

since strange issue, have no idea do. can similar tasks on window machines , have no problem.

system: ubuntu 11.04 32bit on amd 64x2 4400+
router/firwall: netgear fwag114 - firmware v1.0.27_1.0.1

since strange issue have no idea of how fix issue. now, thinking of changing router/firewall.

update: downloading fedora image causes same problem. think either router doesn't ubuntu or ubuntu doesn't router

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
