Thread: Mail server for 400 small domains - which one to use?

i going try , replace our crappy windows/imail server new ubuntu 10.04 lts based machine. end 400 domains on around 3000 users total. 96% of domains have light use. 4% of domains have heavy use not send bulk mail.

can here recommend mail server software package easy administrate , easy backup/replicate? need pop webmail. not need imap or want group/collaborative functions.

use anti-spam on linux mail server? want keep open source if possible.

hardware looking @ hp dl360 g5 dual xeons, 4g of ram, , p400 controller 6 sas 15k drives. think server able handle mail on linux? volume around 400k messages day inbound 10% being legit/90% being spam. server dedicated mail hosting , not host websites.

help/advice/direction appreciated.

hi,

recommend use postfix postfixadmin web interface. can use mysql backend storing virtual domains/users. easy manage/replicate/backup.

anti-spam mailscanner spamassassin, clamav, dcc, pyzor, razor2, other plugins. can use mailwatch mailscanner web interface.

not sure if server able handle load though.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
