Thread: Loading a kernel module without asking for sudo password

hi,

have been using command below insert module, uses password

echo mypassword | sudo -s mymodule.ko

there way avoid giving password in plain text. perhaps someway give user account permissions this?

thanks.

why using pipes? if running can enter password yourself. if using cron or like, can add root's crontab or like...
