Can't see video in Source Monitor, or play it in Program Monitor

hi there

 

i have been using adobe premiere pro cs5 fine months now, doing same tasks on daily basis. yesterday morning computer crashed whilst editing footage , doesn't function properly.

 

i have re-installed software , hasn't fixed issues, , performed system restore fixed not of them.

 

the main problem can import video project , drop onto timeline (which couldn't before system restore) can't view original footage in source monitor, making editing tricky, , doesn't play continuosly in source monitor, giving still image wherever leave playhead.

 

i can hear audio , plays without breaks, it's video.

 

can help?

can help? use work , can't more work until it's fixed.

 

things i've tried:

uninstall , reinstall

system restore

checking opacity on clip

checking workspaces open

importing old footage , other formats

opening old projects

updating codecs

emptying media cache

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
