Thread: Onboard graphics card not detected

i have ecs a790gxm-ad3 motherboard, has ati radeon hd 3300 onboard, ati radeon hd 4870 in pcie slot. 3300 isn't detected whatsoever (lspci, lshw), , 4870 is. able use both simultaneously.

i'm running ubuntu 11.04 64bit.

this bios issue. bioss automatically disable onboard graphics when fit pcie graphics card. hence not seen lspci, etc. however, should able enable both graphics devices in bios. have ecs motherboard (different model) american megatrends bios. settings graphics under pci/pnp settings. on bios there 2 parameters set - first 1 or both graphics devices, second priority.

if bios not american megatrends, you'll have search settings are.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

lately i've been trying out lots of old windows games (on cd's bought legally) have lying around on wine heck of it. 5 or 6 years old , many don't run on windows 7! been hit or miss. what's worked reliably install game on old windows xp desktop, this: copy relevant folder in program files (for example: c:/program files/warcraft iii) of windows computer usb stick. paste in linux directory (anywhere) configure wine d: drive point @ d: drive, ex: /media/warcraft iii/ find promising .exe file in folder copied windows (like warcraft3.exe) , execute wine. , works charm games! however, in ubuntu think i've installed (while running linux, put cd drive, open installer, install) , run 1 program in linux successfully. happens this: cd automatically mounts, , configure wine's d: drive in /media/warcraft iii/ i'll run installer.exe wine wait game install, seems work fine next time try start game, says "please insert warcraft iii cd...
