Thread: mysql event_scheduler starts OFF

hello!
long time ago not log in on forum.

please help!
have ubuntu server (9.10, karmic), running mysql (version: 5.1.37-1ubuntu5.1).

have 1 data base using events 1 intranet system, fine!
edited config file (/etc/mysql/my.cnf), , add line:

event_scheduler=on

after, reboot mysql service, , query show variables, , event_scheduler still off.

rebooted server, , again, event_scheduler still off.

way change value executing query:
set global event_scheduler=on; root.

apparently not taking value saved on my.cnf

in fact, looked @ syslog, , mysql loaded events of database.

idea?
suggestions?

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
