Thread: Help needed please, this problem is so annoying.

hi hoping can me, using windows 7 , decided partition hard-drive use wubi install of ubuntu 11.04. @ first dual boot windows loader grub loader no problems, have not updated far know anyway. issue have, can't find when first boot pc can 70% of time choose os wish , load fine, other 30% of time selection unresponsive in keyboard not work, let boot windows 7(as default boot) , miss out on choosing ubuntu keyboard not move , down select os. if lucky , choose os want, boot fine, but! on restart of system everytime selection process wont let me choose os wish, therefore booting windows 7. don't have usb legacy option in bios(ive read can cause unresponsive keyboards) , 4 usb options have enabled. keyboard usb keyboard. dont have old keyboard try. have found temporary solution problem surely cant pc, if cant select os, shutdown pc, unplug it, hold power button discharge left power in pc. when start pc gauranteed able choose os wish out problems @ all, on restart same thing, can't choose os. it's annoying , if ideas causing this, hear think, thank's.

wubi not require create partition , installs in folder/partition inside windows , offer 30 gb maximum size . have traditional dual boot ubuntu on own partition or wubi installation inside of windows ?
