Thread: Resizing ubuntu for installing windows


i install windows on separate partition of hard drive because have upgrade bios. don't know how resize ubuntu when installed on single partition.

best way wud prob b this:

ubuntu live cd(or usb), , boot it...

open "gparted" , show nice gui hd , partitions etc...

can right click on ubuntu partition , select resise, drag size want... good!

put in windows , use empty space created

***note***:you may need recover grub tho once u put windows on, windows screws grub menu on ya....

, on computers. data before doing this. "if dont important data, mustn't important"
