Thread: Frustrating External Monitor Issues

pulling hair out here. when attach external monitor, hp w1907v, compaq cq42, lose screen resolution. want in 1400x900 @ 16:10. there 3 options, highest of 1024x768 (4:3), making on hp monitor squashed , pixelated.

1 option close laptop lid it's set 'blank screen' in power management settings , have hp monitor monitor. isn't ideal managed once. rebooted , seems ubuntu has forgotten monitor settings , has reverted first scenario.

if try making hp monitor monitor, loses side menu, appears if it's extended desktop, despite laptop still being set 'blank screen' when lid closed.

have go through annoying set-up every time turn laptop on? how make hp monitor desktop include menu , avoid mouse disappearing off invisible second desktop? why can choose crappy 1024x768 @ 4:3 dimension when repeating desktop across 2 monitors? there app out there that'll solve annoyance once , cos it's driving me nuts.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
