NOOK Simple Touch says "Error Dialog: user not activated" whenever I try to open e-books?


i have had nook simple touch year now, , have been using adobe digital editions without problem. now, of sudden, barnes , noble updated software , can't read of ade books!! says "error dialog: user not activated" every time click on them. have looked @ many other websites , have tried plugging nook in computer , reauthorizing it, reauthorizing computer, deleting digital editions file , .adobe-digital-editions file, redownloading books, turning nook off , on, crying, , screaming. weird thing is, in instructions, says pop-up box come when delete files, never does. normal? have manually clicking on gear. made sure "unhid" hidden files. i have done each of these @ least 5 times , never work!!! me, please.

 

also, lot of websites make sure barnes , noble ade i.d. same 1 on ade computer i.d.. b&n ade i.d. different barnes , noble id? becasue have been using sisters email computer ade , email b&n i.d.. supposed same? if so, how come able use without problem before?? tried reauthorizing ade email, because have ade account email, wouldn't let me redownload books onto new account. mean have change ade computer i.d. , wait until books available again read them? way fix it? ugh!

help appreciated.

 

p.s. have ade version 2.0

also having problems daughter's nook since 1.2 update.  after trying several things, , in process authorizing device multiple times, have run out of activations!  daughter cannot read books halfway through.  both extremely frustrated process.  how can library epubs working again??
