Illustrator CS5 won't honor my startup file in OS 10.8

it took me awhile find startup file empty out of swatches , stuff. found basic cmyk.ai file. opened , made edits it. saved file , quit illustrator. when open illustrator , create new cmyk file none of changes made startup took, in color swatches, brushes , still there, when go basic cmyk.ai file correct. way left it.

 

i illustrate artwork textbooks , dont want have remove unneeded swatches everytime create new file. please help.

 

mac os 10.8.2

where did go change new document profile? 1 want change in user profile. location varies os.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
