Thread: modprobe setup

i have motherboard problem requires forcedeth module run msi=0 , msix=0 (at least until upgrade mb bios).

have created file /etc/modprobe.d/forcedeth.conf containing line

options forcedeth msi=0 msix=0

if, after booting, do
code:
sudo modprobe -r forcedeth sudo modprobe forcedeth
everything works fine (ie network connection starts). however, had expected options picked automatically @ boot - have had working way had reinstall. have forgotten step. can please jog memory - need put in 1 of init.d scripts or somewhere else?

well, after update system has started find options in forcedeth.conf expected in first place. must admit did not check 150 or updates perhaps there bug fix.

anyway
