hi all

i'm new linux. installed ubuntu on weekend after (hated) instal of windows vista failed massively , couldn't bring myself try , recover

far installation going well, got things working , (i think) grip on basics, , developers out there &c.

anyway, question.

1 of loved programs on vista get_iplayer, wanted spec possible.

i've installed get_iplayer gui , had browser interface running in firefox fine using instructions here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1658940 nothingspecial.

great, , i'm happy in general basic idea of using terminal. know i'm used clicking little icons , stuff happens, , can't keep long (to me) unintelligable pieces of code in head.

want know this. there way simply(ish) wrap 2 pieces of script command line or whatever correctly called package can launch apps menu or desktop icon? better launch gui in browser window. got in windows, , thing.

i'm running on ubuntu 10.10 lts

i'll second that, couldn't have put better myself. reason have reply because question answered elsewhere ? have managed maybe ?

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
