Nested menu active class - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,

i remember in earlier versions of joomla set active class on parent menu in menu module.

i have main nav points sub menu of sub menu. when click main nav link links sub, sub menu. main nav gets active class , sub sub menu gets current class sub menu doesnt active class?

here structure ...

projects (alias: project)
menu item alias
|— hotels (alias: hotels)
— menu item alias
|—|— hotels thumbs (alias: hotels-2)
—— articles » category blog

i think asking on how achieve expanding menu structure more 1 level or have multiple levels of menu.

i had read somewhere on joomla new 3 version no longer supports (out of box) multiple levels of menu expansion. reason how-to article @ http://technotes.whw1.com/computer-rela ... oomla-site installing , using extension provides ability expanding drop down or sliding menus. automatically take existing menu structure , provide drop down or sliding menus according settings provide on it.
