Experiencing performance related issues in Lightroom 4.3 or later

since the original experiencing performance related issues in lightroom 4.x thread is whopping 43 pages long, , many of original 4.0-4.2 performance issues have since been resolved, it's impossible figure out still having problems, , can try.  i'm therefore locking thread new posts, , putting link one. 

 

if you're having problems in 4.0 - 4.2, please update 4.3.  here links: windows - mac  may interested in these performance hints, many of gathered long thread.

 

if you're still having problems 4.3, please go ahead , post below.  don't forget include details such system specs (os, processor, ram, graphics card, etc), camera model , whether shoot raw or jpeg, , you're finding slow (and ideally timings on how slow).  it's useful include notes of things you've tried fix it.,

the biggest change have seen has been turning off detail section until rest of adjustments complete.

 

i have been making lightroom window small responsiveness.

 

turning off detail section can adjustments lightroom full screen on 30" monitor , near instant screen refreshes.

 

with detail section on changing white balance take 2-3 seconds update screen.  detail section off less half second.

 

this work me, hope not forget sharpen when done!

 

i have quad core core 2 processor q9550 8 gigs of ram on windows 7 64 bit.  catalog has own hd, windows , lightroom each have own dedicated cache drives.
