Thread: How to restore blank desktop to a functional one?

i have installed ubuntu 11.04 on desktop computer, , found quite different previous versions. panels not same earlier ones , new "panel" different type visible in new ubuntu.
problem started when tried create desktop cube compiz (as in previous versions). fiddled , presently status wallpaper pic visible when log in ubuntu. how rid of this? please help.
, in advance.

right click on empty desktop create new folder. open , navigate /usr/share/applications find icon compiz-configuration-settings-manager. click open , check unity box.

think can type
unity --restart
in terminal provided can start terminal ctr+alt+ t

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
