Thread: Terrible Battery life on Aspire 4733z

i have brand new acer aspire 4733z. in windows can 5 hours of battery life general use, less half in ubuntu 11.04.
there few things notice..

#1. bottom of laptop gets noticeably warmer in ubuntu vs win7.
#2. display brightness slider (fn key) move notification slider not change brightness @ (all other fn functions work)
#3. in win 7 led back-light automatically dim , brighten on battery (asside manual brightness adjustments) dont know if 'acer' feature or led back-lighted displays do, nevertheless doesn't work in ubuntu.
#4 battery life drains in standby, had in standby 50% battery left , came 4 hours later find 100% dead.

have not tried 64bit version of ubuntu, pentium t4500 dualcore believe 64bit. problem or else?

battery life problem thing holding me using ubuntu main os.
oh. , battery menu in ubuntu states battery @ 99.9 capacity. doubt issue.
please appreciate very much!

help pleaseee. or tell me can this?

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
