Thread: Switching iPod Classic from Mac to Ubuntu

i had issues getting 80gb ipod classic connect new ubuntu laptop. angry "mount error" anytime connect. couldn't find in forums helpful, i'll throw down learned.

since had been syncing mac, imac had reformatted ipod drive apple standard htfs, believe. gives apple opportunity lock down device, when plug ubuntu machine, angry mount error.

there lots of hacky ways around it. there simple way around it:

1) plug ipod mac.

2) use disk utility format drive fat32 *** deletes music on ipod****

3) open itunes. restore firmware, no asks you. don't sync. don't reformat. when ipod says "connected" again, eject it.

4) stick in ubuntu computer. instead of "mount error" popping up, got "media device detected. open in banshee?"

5) life if good.

now, say, method deletes on ipod. if you're switching mac ubuntu , have moved on mp3s already, far easiest thing do.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
