Fixing thousands of broken links - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello everyone,
i changed link of website [which k2 previously] new 1 [joomla blog layout]. like:

code: select all

www.domain.com/blog [this k2 blog layout]

and is

code: select all

www.domain.com/blogs [joomla blog layout]

now receive couple of hundreds broken links via google everyday [checked through webmaster tools] fraustating. want point old /blog , links inside http://www.domain.com/blogs [only url] , need .htaccess method point new address. want use 301 redirect method.

try putting line .htaccess file:

rewriterule ^blog/(.*)$ /blogs/$1 [r=301,nc,l]
