Thread: fresh install / error code

i have ubuntu 8.04 primary (only) os , fresh install of 10.04. i'm new linux , don't know start.

have tried loading iso file onto thumb drive , booting thumb drive system ignores usb drive , loads user screen.

supposed delete current install first? or
format thumb drive in special way make recognizable bootable source?

side note
reason i'm doing not have newest lts rid of error -

e: /var/cache/apt/archives/mysql-server_5.0.51a-3ubuntu5.5_all.deb: subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1

error prevents me installing new.

hi, need make drive bootable, can put ubuntu on usb drive using start disk creator if installed in 8.04 or follow directions on ubuntu download site.

in bios when start computer need set boot usb drive first.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
