Cannot access menu items or fix database - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi.

i'm working in test environment upgrade 2.5 site 3.3.1. able finish base install, unable use extension manager/database/fix option. database warning follows:

database schema version (none) not match cms version ().

i hit "fix", , nothing happens. loads, nothing changes, otherwise.

the error when attempt access menu items (as other items) in end this:

fatal error: call undefined method menusviewitem::getform() in d:\websites\www3\layouts\joomla\edit\title_alias.php on line 12

can help?

it sounds upgrade didn't go well, results in critical files not being added new site.

i compare files in subfolders under these directories, against fresh copy of full 3.3.1 installer, see if missing files:

/administrator/components/com_installer
/administrator/components/com_menus

sometimes when happens, merely copying files on leads either fix or (more in case) ability @ least effect fix. other times it's more messy , best start over... luck.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
