Regarding .htaccess - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,

i enabled "use url rewriting" in joomla , have changed htacess.txt .htaccess. rewriting working fine.

i use centos on vps have full access configuration files. supporting url rewriting feature in joomla, had use allowoverride option enabled .htaccess.

my question:--- how can enable "use url rewriting" without using .htaccess .htaccess has got it's performance overhead , recommended changes in httpd.conf if have access.

what kind of performance overhead .htaccess file have? can please give reliable source confirms issue?

this first time hear of this, , think should never mess httpd.conf file things .htaccess file should do.

Multilanguage infinite redirect loop error. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

trim media limit reached

hello,   i have installed adobe premiere cs 6....and have trouble videos transitions----->cross disolve. normally not problem, when drag , drop videos transitions, can't drag transitions longer in sequence without comment :trim media limit reached.... so can't work on transition.........   how can solve it, should don't find it...   thanks help.......... you cant make transition past end of source clip.  ie dont have enough media.   transitions made overlapping media .   someone post image illustrates this.
